Plumbing maintenance plan and water heater flush reminders

For small plumbing shops that sell annual plans or recurring water heater service and want a simple, repeatable way to remind customers.

What to remind about

  • Plan renewals
  • Annual water heater flush or inspection
  • Seasonal checks (e.g. outdoor spigots before freezing weather)
  • Follow-ups on recommended work the customer deferred

A simple schedule

  • 30, 14 and 3 days before the renewal or service date
  • One follow-up after a missed renewal, then stop
  • Space messages out, and honor opt-outs right away

Keep it in one list

  • Customer, contact, plan type, renewal date, last service date, price
  • Export from your field service software or keep it in a sheet

Copy-and-paste templates

Texting rules to know

  • Only text customers who gave you their number as part of doing business with you.
  • Include opt-out language (e.g. "Reply STOP to opt out") and honor it right away.
  • US carriers require A2P 10DLC registration for business texting from a standard local number.
